The Truelove is a poem written by David Whyte, available as a booklet illustrated with three hand carved engravings in a limited edition of 150.
The first 75 copies are enclosed in a hard-case folio, with 50 as the soft cover and 25 are available in loose sheets to be bound. The booklet measures approximately 18.5 x 13cm.
The illustrations were developed into acrylic engravings worked up from monoprint experiments made over the spring of 2026.
The booklet cover is Batik Spider supplied by Boektotaal of the Netherlands. The end papers are handmade by Two Rivers Paper Company of Watchet, and the text is printed on Zerkall. The type is Elizabeth and all was printed on an Autovic press.
